Terms of Service

Award Desk watches for airline award seats that match trips you describe and the points you hold, and gives you step-by-step booking playbooks. It also offers free guides.

• We don't book travel or move points for you. You make every transfer and booking yourself, directly with the bank or airline program.
• Availability changes constantly. Award seats can disappear within minutes, and data from airlines and our data providers can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. A playbook is not a reservation or a guarantee a seat exists.
• Check before you transfer. Point transfers to airline programs are usually instant and can't be reversed. Always confirm the seat is bookable in the airline program before transferring points. We aren't responsible for points transferred, spent, or lost based on information from the service.
• Not financial or travel-agency advice. Guides and playbooks are general information. Program rules, partners, and prices change, and you should check the current terms of each program.
• Not affiliated. Award Desk is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline, hotel, bank, or award search tool. Their names and marks belong to their owners.

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us at privacy@awarddesk.app if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person per account.

• Premium costs $49 (USD) per month, plus any applicable tax, billed in advance through Stripe.
• It renews automatically each month on the same date until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal.
• Cancel anytime from Manage billing on the Premium page. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable, including for partial months, except where the law requires a refund or where we decide to issue one.
• If a payment fails, we may retry it for a short grace period and then end Premium access until the balance is paid.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice; you can cancel before then.

The free plan and its limits may change at any time.

Don't:

• copy, resell, redistribute, or publish data or playbooks from the service, or use them to build a competing product;
• access the service with bots, scrapers, or other automated means, except our own mobile app;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the service, or bypass its limits or security;
• reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it;
• use the service for anything unlawful, or share your account.

You keep ownership of what you enter, such as trip briefs and points balances, and you let us use it to run the service for you. We own the service, including its software, design, guides, and playbooks. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the service for your own travel while these terms apply. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

The service links to and relies on third parties, including airline and bank programs, Stripe, and our data providers. Their terms govern your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their services, availability, or content.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Account; deleting it cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment owed, disclaimers, limits of liability, and governing law) survive the end of these terms.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or find any particular award seat.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost points, miles, fares, bookings, profits, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

If you break these terms or misuse the service, you agree to cover reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) that third-party claims against us cause as a result.

South Dakota law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnehaha County, South Dakota, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court instead. Before filing, please email privacy@awarddesk.app so we can try to resolve it informally.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
